New Leader: Hogmans + 3's Match (The REAL #1)

Today will be my last day of dp before I take a leave of absence. I have appointed hogmans as leader. I hope that he will be able to refresh the clan with the intake of new members.

I found this picture today on my iphone (I couldn't remember my screenshot bind at the time!) of -210's very first match (if you can call it that). It was on a public server, on the map shock no less, and to top it all off a noname infiltrated our game at the last minute and we couldn't get him to leave haha. Perhaps you wouldn't call it a match, but I like to think that it counts.

This was in February, probably just a couple of days after Heisenberg and Hogmans made the clan. Funnily enough, all three of the players on the opposing team (nina, imadoofas and pandalover) would all go on to join the clan at completely different stages throughout its life.

I'm showing this not just because of the nostalgic feelings that it brings me, but also because it reminds me of how long this clan has been around. Sure, it might not be long at all compared to some of the real long-term dp clans like cP etc., but in the dying days of this great game where new clans come and go constantly, most of which last a couple of months, maybe three at best - I'm pretty happy with the fact that we've made it this far. It couldn't have happened without all of you guys - whether you're a current or former member - thank you for playing a part.

I hope to see some of you again when I return in November!

2s Match - |-210| vs [xRo]

First time we played them we lost: (me and schiz) both tired and lagged ahaha. I don't have scrnshots of the 1st match but I have them of the match we won, the second time me and thai.

xRo's getting good. They got Matze and [shawn, epic] nukegamer apparently, and they're recruiting for more... gotta watch out for those guys.

Anyway, here are the screenshots. Both games, thai did everything in the beginning, then I started helping which made a comeback, and we won.

Noturning's Departure/New Leader

Apparently, noturning is leaving and will be inactive for 2 months for his college degree, which is really important. So he will step down. You were an awesome leader noturning. Good luck!

Double jump script

It was a quiet night tonight, with no matches at all. However, schizophrenic and I looked into double jump scripts and loaded one in from here:

I'd recommend giving it a shot if you have trouble with double jumps, as it really helps a lot. If you do use it, all you have to do is enter in each line of code into the console one by one.

Then, approach a spot where a double jump is possible and just press down on space. I'm still playing with it, but I find it works best if you keep space held down until the jump is done.

Omni and myself are looking to bring in one more member to the clan for now. Let us know if there is anyone that you think would make a good addition to the clan.

Meh. Fun 2v2 on my server.

Well, people "matched" on my server a little bit. Me, MatzeMR, Hawaiian, and Choice. It was fun, and it was REALLY close. Say came on, but left. Other newbs did that too, coming on and off. But mostly, it was us 4 in the game. Thanks for supporting me Matze!

Well, with [cP] Servers gone, it's hard for Americans to match now. (Superman's servers, but no one knows how to get the servers yet, [correct me if I'm wrong]) So I had to get Arctic servers, (OTB really lags for me ) But it turned out...ok... at least I won! xD (I lost last time to him on [cP] Servers)

Downsides: Both of us lagged HARD, and it was hard to play. Whatever, here you go.

So, today we hit 1000 views of the blog! When I started this thing, I kind of thought that no one would really bother actually looking at it, so it's great to see other members posting and commenting, as well as actually visiting. 

We also had a proper series of wins tonight against IKY with a total score of 107:56!

Me and JiGsaWW played Lukii, sKeen, and S8SS8 today. (They tagged off)
A loss, but in both games me and jigs held up in the beginning, and collapsed.

omni and MatzeMR went to play #spec in a 2v2 the game ended in a decent score but we know we can improve. 100 - 33 loss overall. GG!

Another win against Shawn, a friend of Lazers! I have to say that Shawn lagged a bit, so he couldn't play as well as on N/A servers. Good game(s) my friend ;)

Clan Training

We are thinking of clan training. To help us get better at the game in general and at specific maps/ strategies.

What we want to know is -
What time would you like clan training to be held?
What Maps Would you like to hone your skills on?

Training sessions will most likely include a 2v2 game and then discussion about what we did wrong, what we did right and what we can do next time.

It will also help us know how each other play.

Just a test if everyone has idea please say them also comment below the answers to the questions above.
